
68 Yrs/female, was taken to ER of local hospital at Frankfurt with H/O Severe headache, vomitting, loss of consciousness with GCS only 3.
Post all investigations, she was dignosed with extensive cerebellar hemorrhage with intraventricular hemorrhage and consecutive hydrocephalus occlusus. Patient underwent emergency surgical procedure to drain out the internal bleed. Patient remained semi comatose, so tracheotomy was performed to continue Bipap support.
As condition of patient showed little improvement, family wanted to transfer her to Mumbai-India for further treatment/Rehab.
They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Mumbai on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via commercial airlines as stretcher case.
Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med evac succesfully, transferred patient to Tertiary care facility in Mumbai safely , in stable condition.
