Air Ambulance From Colombo To Bengaluru

 67 Yrs/female (India National) was admitted in local hospital at Colombo with C/O worsening cough, increasing breathlessness. During course of treatment her condition worsened and went into Respiratory failure, her saturation fell to 85%, was taken on bipap.

Post all investigations, she was dignosed as atypical Pneumonia with respiratory failure.

As condition of patient showed no  improvement, family wanted to transfer her to back to India in Tertiary care facility-Bengaluru for further treatment.

They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Bengaluru on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via Air Ambulance.

Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med evac succesfully inspite of bad weather enroute to Colombo but managed to land at Colombo, transferred patient to Tertiary care facility in Bengaluru in stable condition.

Patient Summary: Atypical Pneumonia with respiratory failure, on bipap.
