36 Yrs/female, was taken to ER of local hospital at Ahmedabad with C/O vomitting, loose stool with right sided numbness & weakness.
Post all investigations, she was dignosed with Posterior circulation stroke, right vertibral artery thrombotic occulusion & Atorvastatin induced hepatitis.
As condition of patient showed little improvement, family wanted to transfer her to Mumbai- for further treatment and onward repatriation back to her home country-UK.
They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Mumbai on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via Air Ambulance.
Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med Evac successfully, and transferred the patient to Tertiary care facility in Mumbai safely , in stable condition.
