Successful Med Evac via Air Ambulance From Yangon to Kolkata

64 Yrs/female ( Myanmar National) was admitted in local hospital at Yangon with C/O cough, loose motions, with bowl incontinence, dysuria.

Post all investigations, she was dignosed as Sepsis with UTI, Pancytopenia, Carcinoma Bladder (stage III), SLE nephropathy. She underwent few cyclies of chemo at local hospital-Yangon.

As condition of patient showed no  improvement, family wanted to transfer her to Tertiary care facility-Kolkata (India) for further treatment.

They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Kolkata on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via Air Ambulance.

Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med evac succesfully inspite of bad weather and run way closer at Yangon but managed to land at Yangon and transferred patient to Tertiary care facility in Kolkata in stable condition.
