
51 Yrs/male, was taken to ER of Changi General hospital at Singapore on 12 October 2022 with H/O Fever with Chills, where he was doagnosed and treated for TB Meningitis.
During hospitalization he developed several complications including PEA collapse precipitated by bradycardia from brain stem edema. Tracheostomy was done, he had several admissions to medical ICU/High dependency unit for issues including recurrent shock. Patient went into persistent comatose state on ventilatory support then on Bipap.
As condition of patient did not show any improvement (Brain Dead), family wanted to transfer her to back Mumbai-India for further treatment/Rehab.
They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Mumbai on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via commercial airlines at stretcher case escorted by experienced Medical team lead by Dr Navneet Singh.
Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med evac succesfully, transferred patient to Tertiary care facility in Mumbai safely , in stable condition.
