73 Yrs/female, was taken to ER of local hospital at Holangi with C/O fever, cough and shortness of breath.
Post all investigations, she was dignosed Interstitial Lung Disease- Type 1 Respiratory failure,Bilateral Pleaural effusion and was taken on Bipap support.
As condition of patient showed little improvement, family wanted to transfer her to Tertiary care facility-Delhi- for further treatment.
They got in touch with EMSOS team to transfer the patient to Delhi on urgent basis. Team EMSOS was activated and planned the Med evac via Air Ambulance.
Team EMSOS managed to obtain all clearances urgently, planned and executed the Med evac succesfully, transferred patient to Tertiary care facility in Delhi in stable condition.
